This hand-painted mural represents one of more than 50 book titles painted on 3-foot diameter columns. These large scale murals (some measuring over 8-feet tall) provide compelling visual impact in school library spaces.

This book title was rewarding to tackle due to its many layers, colors and type styles. I collaborated with the librarian on this and every book title chosen for this space. My goal is to ensure each column contains balance, movement, and visual interest.
