Jeff remembers creating his first major work of art—it was on his parents’ white naugahyde (look it up) couch in the 60’s. He was a little guy, but received lots of attention for drawing Picasso-esque images on that glorious soft white surface with a black ballpoint pen. He’s been creating ever since.
For over 30 years, Jeff has created TV storyboards, designed logos, and food packaging, created a company newsletter that garnered national attention, and a myriad of materials for restaurants, hotels, universities, and churches. He’s painted interior wall murals inspired by nature, and created interactive art camps that have involved and inspired hundreds and hundreds of children over the years. Kids are fearless when it comes to being creative! He’s painted—along with teams of amazing volunteers—50-foot-long backdrops on canvases for theatrical productions. He’s also created countless custom, personal pieces of art for friends and family whom he loves and deeply appreciates. All of these creations, whether enormous or notebook size, express Jeff’s desire to bring beauty into the world and offer compelling, lasting visual gifts for others to enjoy for years to come.
Each project Jeff undertakes is custom and site-specific. He loves the creative collaborative process of brainstorming, planning, fine-tuning and executing the original one-of-a-kind masterpiece! Whether it's a book spine, school mascot and slogan or a huge dreamscape mural—it doesn't matter. It's art that never before existed, and now it does! Jeff believes workplaces, neighborhoods, and homes are blank canvases waiting to be painted with images that inspire communities to live lives filled with meaning and gratitude.
That's the reason Jeff creates.
Jeff currently lives in Round Rock, Texas with his beautiful wife. Their two amazing grown children, son-in-law, and adorable granddaughter and grandson all live in the Austin area. When he’s not making art, you can find Jeff hanging out with his family, puttering in the yard and tending his gardens, working out, or going to the movies.
